Abstract(s)
Este Projecto apresenta-se segmentado em duas partes distintas mas indissociÔveis: uma primeira parte, de natureza teórica, destinada a apresentar, definir e/ou explicar um conjunto de conceitos fundamental para uma correcta contextualização e clarificação da segunda parte, de carÔcter assumidamente prÔtico e experimental.
Começa-se por clarificar a importância da criança no mercado infantil, enquanto consumidora e fonte de influência na aquisição de bens e serviços. Destaca-se também o papel do marketing infantil como dinamizador de estratégias que cativem o pequeno consumidor, como o recurso às mascotes.
Define-se a aceitação das mascotes junto dos mais novos, bem como a aplicação e adaptação das mesmas no contexto do livro infantil, destacando-se a importância da literatura no desenvolvimento intelectual da criança.
Na parte prĆ”tica destaca-se o tema do projecto e dĆ”-se a conhecer a metodologia e os conceitos relevantes Ć execução da mascote infantil āMatildeā e adaptação da mesma ao projecto grĆ”fico do livro infantil āOs aviƵesā.
This project has been segmented in two different although interconnected parts: a first theoretical approach, destined to present, define and/or explain the key-concepts necessary to a correct understanding and clarification of the second part, fundamentally practical and experimental. We begin by clarifying the childās role on this segmentās market, both as consumer and as a source of influence in the acquisition of goods and services. The role of childrenās marketing is also highlighted as a catalyser of strategies aimed to seduce the little consumer, such as the use of mascots. The youngerās acceptance of mascots is also defined, as well as their employment and adjustment within the context of childrenās books, emphasizing the importance of literature to the childās intellectual development. The practical part focuses on the projectās theme and reveals the methodology and concepts considered relevant to the creation of the childās mascot āMatildeā and its adaptation to the graphic project of the childrenās book āThe airplanesā.
