Abstract(s)
O estudo da satisfação no trabalho bem como os seus determinantes tem-se
assumido de grande importância para os vários domínios da psicologia organizacional.
Tendo por base estes pressupostos pretendemos, com a presente investigação, averiguar
se existem diferenças em relação a satisfação no trabalho em função do género, da idade,
do estado civil, da escolaridade, da categoria profissional, do vínculo laboral, e tempo de
serviço; bem como averiguar se existem diferenças em relação à qualidade de vida em
função do género, da idade, do estado civil, da escolaridade, da categoria profissional, do
vínculo laboral, e tempo de serviço
No presente estudo, recorreu-se a uma investigação de natureza quantitativa, cuja
amostra por conveniência, foi constituída por 120 colaboradores da administração local de
um município do Distrito da Guarda, utilizando-se para a recolha de dados um questionário
adaptado do Job Descriptive Index e o Whorqhol bref.
Os resultados revelaram a existência de uma tendência positiva entre a variável
sócio-demografica - habilitações literárias e a satisfação, assim como uma tendência
positiva entre a variável sócio-profissional - categoria profissional com a satisfação não se
encontrando diferenças estatisticamente significativas nas restantes variáveis em estudo.
Relativamente a qualidade de vida os resultados obtidos revelam uma tendência positiva
desta com o género e com as habilitações literárias.
The study of job satisfaction and its determinants has assumed it self of great importance for the multi contents of organizational psychology. With this investigation, we intend study if are differences in relation to job satisfaction by gender, age, marital status, educational level, the professional category of employment, and if there are differences in the quality of life by gender, age, marital status, educational level, and the professional category of employment. In the presnt study, it was appealed to an investigation of quantitative nature, whose pattern of convenience, was formed by 120 employees of local government from a municipality in the district of Guarda, using for the gathering of basis a questionnaire adapted adapted from the Job Descriptive Index and Whorqhol bref, which were applied in the period from 1 April till the end of a May 2010. The results revealed the existence of a positive relationship between sociodemographic variable qualifications and satisfaction, and a positive relationship between the variable socio-professional category with professional satisfaction is not found statistically significant differences in other variables. With regard to the quality of life results show a positive relationship with this genre and with the educational.
