estatisticamente, pela aplicação Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS®, v. 28.0.1.0)
Statistics, da International Business Machines (IBM®), para Microsoft® Windows®. O
The Coronavirus disease [(co)rona (vi)rus (d)isease: COVID-], whose etiological agent is the SARS-CoV-2 virus, was classified as a pandemic in March 2020 by the World Health Organization. In recent decades, the concept of QWL has emerged in the scientific community as an important tool for research and holistic assessment of worker health. Therefore, determining and improving nurses' QWL is extremely important to ensure the quality of care for the sick. The general objective of this dissertation is to discern the impact of a pandemic on the QWL of nurses at CHUCB. The specific objectives include determining the extent to which Internal Mobility, Schedule Types, Physical Structure of Services, Characteristics of Service Organization, and Workload explain the QWL of the targeted nurses in the context of a pandemic. This is a cross-sectional, analytical observational study, based on a single, temporal observation of each individual in the sample, through a questionnaire (sent online in the GOOGLE Forms format), without any intervention, consisting of eighty-one (81) questions. The collected data were statistically processed using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS®, v. 28.0.1.0) Statistics application, from International Business Machines (IBM®), for Microsoft® Windows®. Text, figures/graphs, charts, and tables were processed using Microsoft® Office® (Word® and Excel®). The overall assessment of the results revealed a significant percentage of responses tending toward neutrality (mean score). As we have seen, around 85% of respondents consider themselves satisfied with their QWL during this crisis, and around 1/3 of respondents consider themselves to have high satisfaction with their QWL.
