dc.description.abstractEste estudo tem como objetivo dar um contributo para a investigação na área do burnout e da perceção de suporte organizacional, mais especificamente na relação entre estes dois conceitos. Esta investigação tem por base um design cross-sectional/transversal de natureza correlacional. A amostra do estudo é composta por 121 docentes de três universidades diferentes. Os instrumentos de investigação utilizados foram o MBI-ES e a escala de Perceção de Suporte Organizacional de Eisenberger, Huntington, Hutchison e Sowa (1986). Os resultados estatísticos permitiram verificar qual a relação entre os três componentes do burnout (exaustão emocional, despersonalização e realização pessoal) e a Perceção de Suporte Organizacional.por
dc.description.abstractThis study aims to contribute to research on burnout and perceived organizational support, specifically the relationship between these two concepts. This research is based on a cross-sectional design of correlational nature. The study sample consists of 121 teachers from three different universities. The research instruments used were the MBI-ES and the scale of Perceived Organizational Support of Eisenberger, Huntington, Hutchison and Sowa (1986). The statistical results allowed the verification of the relation between the three components of burnout (emotional exhaustion, depersonalization and personal accomplishment) and the Perception of Organizational Support.
