Abstract(s)
This article intends to underline the importance of the knowledge of History of language when grammatical items of a foreign language are taught. The perspective of the mother tongue can influence on the acquisition of the second language. Sometimes, the philological explanations of the rules are a response of a common heritage, and sometimes there is a possible plagiarism. The orthographical accentuation has been chosen to illustrate this subject. This question seems trivial but it causes lots of problems between learners of Spanish and/or Portuguese language.
