O estágio curricular representa uma etapa fundamental na formação de um professor de
Educação Física, uma vez que faz a ligação entre os conteúdos teóricos e aplicação dos mesmos
na prática em contexto escolar. No presente trabalho são expostas e analisadas as atividades
levadas a cabo durante o mesmo.
O primeiro capítulo mostra como foi a experiência da realização do estágio curricular em
Educação Física, levado a cabo na Escola Secundária Campos Melo. Este contou com uma
intervenção no 2º e 3º ciclos do Ensino Básico e Secundário. Neste capítulo são evidenciadas as
dificuldades sentidas e as perceções dos erros cometidos, bem como as estratégias utilizadas
para os colmatar. Para além disso, nesta primeira fase do relatório, é evidenciada a evolução
do professor, bem como realizada uma reflexão crítica da intervenção no estágio e da relação
com a comunidade escolar.
No segundo capítulo é apresentado um trabalho de investigação realizado utilizando as notas
do ano letivo 2014/2015. O objetivo deste estudo passou por verificar se existe uma relação
entre as notas de Educação Física e as notas das restantes disciplinas. Para este efeito foram
utilizadas as médias das escolas de todo o país, através das quais foi concluído que a disciplina
de Educação Física tem uma influência positiva no desempenho escolar.
The curricular internship is a fundamental stage in the training of a Physical Education teacher, since it allows the practical application of previously acquired theoretical concepts. In the present work the activities carried out during this internship are discussed and analyzed. The first chapter discusses the Physical Education curricular internship carried out at Escola Secundária Campos Melo. It entailed the intervention in both 2nd and 3rd cycles of the Ensino Básico e Secundário. This chapter documents the difficulties felt by the teacher and the perception of any mistakes that might have been committed, as well as the strategies used to circumvent and resolve them. The evolution of the teacher throughout the internship is evidenced in this first portion of the report. A critical analysis of the teacher’s involvement in the internship, as well as of its interactions with the school community in general, is also performed. A research study, carried out using the 2014/2015 school year grades, is presented in the second chapter of the present work. Its primary aim was to verify the existence of any relationship between Physical Education grades and those of the remaining subjects. For this purpose the grade averages of the whole country were used. From these data we were able to conclude that the Physical Education subject has a positive influence on the academic performance of students.
