Abstract(s)
ensino (2.º, 3.º ciclo e ensino secundário) abordando o planeamento, a gestão do
significativas.
This document was developed within the scope of the Pedagogical Internship course unit of the second cycle of studies, as part of the requirements for obtaining the master’s degree in physical education teaching in Basic and Secondary Education at the University of Beira Interior. The internship took place at Frei Heitor Pinto Secondary School during the 2024/2025 school year and represented a fundamental stage in consolidating the professional skills required for teaching practice. The report is divided into two main chapters. The first, “Pedagogical Intervention,” describes the work carried out across different educational levels (lower and upper basic education, and secondary education), addressing planning, management of the teachinglearning process, assessment strategies, as well as participation in School Sports, support to the Class Director, and integration within the school context. The second chapter, “Pedagogical Research and Innovation,” presents a study conducted within a Basketball teaching unit, which aimed to analyze the effects of using the Command, Practice, and Guided Discovery teaching styles on the technical-tactical performance of 10th-grade students. Based on the application of the Game Performance Assessment Instrument (GPAI), the results revealed significant improvements in all groups, with more pronounced progress observed in the group exposed to the Guided Discovery style, highlighting the potential of this model in promoting more meaningful learning outcomes.
