| dc.description.abstract | Nos últimos anos registou-se um crescimento significativo do volume de fluxos migratórios à escala global. principalmente tendo como porta de destino o espaço comunitário europeu. De facto, o espaço comunitário europeu seja pela estabilidade democrática, seja pelas condições de vida, tornou-se um polo de atração para esta nova vaga de refugiados, oriundos de países envolvidos em diversos conflitos armados no norte de África e no Médio Oriente. Este !luxo de migrantes desafia todos os níveis de governo, principalmente os governos locais, que estão na linha da frente de receção e acolhimento dos refugiados. O presente estudo centra-se na recente crise dos refugiados que tem assolado a Europa, bem como na forma como as cidades europeias, nomeadamente Paris e Berlim, atuaram no sentido de integrar um volume significativo de refugiados, o que colocou diversas questões ao nivel das estratégias de integração e acolhimento adotadas. Com base num estudo comparativo e descritivo, procuraremos rastrear as estratégias politicas adotadas ao nível local no acolhimento de refugiados, permitindo mapear as condições para a efetiva integração destes cidadãos no espaço europeu. | pt_PT |
