Abstract(s)

The arrest of a couple's element causes various disturbances and it was intended to make a study of changes in routines and habits of women prisoners, in which we wanted to know the impacts and side effects caused by the arrest. We try to know more about the family, economic and social development and it was found that these women have gone through a process of secondary prisonization, concept proposed by Megan Comfort. For the study were chosen nine women connected by marriage or that just live together, with her husband or partner arrested at Castelo Branco’s Prison.
