O presente relatório retrata a experiência obtida no decorrer do estágio
curricular, desenvolvido ao longo do 2ºano do Mestrado em Gestão na Universidade da
Beira Interior.
O principal objetivo deste relatório é a exposição das atividades desenvolvidas no
departamento administrativo e financeiro da empresa António Ascenção Coelho &
Filhos, S.A., com recurso a um Sistema ERP.
Para além da descrição das atividades realizadas durante o estágio é também
realizado um enquadramento teórico sobre a temática com o objetivo de compreender e
estabelecer uma relação teórico-prática da aplicação dos Sistemas ERP em contexto
empresarial. Elementos como a relação que a Gestão de Informação e os Sistemas de
Informação possuem na aplicação dos Sistemas ERP são estudados, destacando o papel
das Tecnologias de Informação neste processo.
Concluiu-se que a correta aplicação de um Sistema ERP permite uma obtenção
de informação mais rápida e organizada e um maior grau de fiabilidade para os
utilizadores, apesar de a sua implementação estar restrita ao departamento
administrativo e financeiro da empresa, o que causa alguns entraves na circulação da
informação.
This report portrays the experience obtained during the curricular internship, developed during the 2nd year of the Master's degree in Management at the University of Beira Interior. The main objective of this report is the exposure of the activities developed in the administrative and financial department of the company António Ascenção Coelho & Filhos, S.A., using an ERP System. In addition to the description of the activities carried out during the internship, a theoretical framework on the theme is also carried out with the objective of understanding and establishing a theoretical-practical relationship of the application of ERP Systems in a business context. Elements such as the relationship that Information Management and Information Systems have in the application of ERP Systems are studied, highlighting the role of Information Technologies in this process. It was concluded that the correct application of an ERP System allows a faster and more organized information and a greater degree of reliability for users, although its implementation is restricted to the administrative and financial department of the company, which causes some obstacles in the information’s flow.
