Abstract(s)
Pretende-se que o presente relatório de estágio pedagógico, realizado no âmbito do grau de Mestre em Ensino de Artes Visuais no 3º Ciclo do Ensino Básico e no Ensino Secundário, sirva de documento de orientação à defesa de uma Educação pelo Teatro no Currículo Nacional, um tema de suma importância não só pelas mais-valias que aporta no processo educativo do aluno, mas sobretudo atendendo à realidade da educação artística nas escolas portuguesas.
Parte-se de uma investigação histórico-descritiva sobre: 1) a importância da Educação pela Arte no ensino e, em concreto, a Educação pelo Teatro; 2) a pedagogia crítica (Freire) relacionando-a com a problemática do Teatro do Oprimido (Boal) e com as abordagens pedagógicas de Vygotsky, Arnheim e Read; 3) argumentos que dignifiquem e comprovem as valências/benefícios da Educação pelo Teatro, para o desenvolvimento holístico do aluno, problematizando, delimitando as competências transversais úteis a determinadas áreas disciplinares curriculares e, em concreto às artes visuais; 4) da identificação e descrição de casos de implementação-disseminação do teatro na escola, verificando qual o “estado da arte” em Portugal; 5) da descrição e análise das atividades que o autor deste plano tem vindo a desenvolver, nesta área, nomeadamente as de Serviço Educativo da ASTA – Associação de Teatro e Outras Artes, e em particular, de um projeto interdisciplinar implementado pela mesma, junto do Agrupamento de Escolas do Teixoso, num contexto específico e particular - uma turma PIEF, num projeto de formação em teatro e cidadania destinado a jovens em risco de trabalho infantil, abandono escolar e/ou situações de exclusão social, denominado de “Palco PIEF”; e ainda, 6) da realização de uma investigação qualitativa iniciada por uma proposta de atividade extracurricular para o Plano Anual de Atividades, na Pratica de Ensino Supervisionada, realizada no presente ano letivo (2013/2014), na Escola Secundária Campos Melo, em que a abordagem ao teatro se faz através da planificação-implementação-monitorização de uma Performance, feita por grupos de alunos, a ser apresentada nos Colóquios Juvenis de Arte.
It is intended that the present report and research work, carried out under the degree of master in Master's Degree in Teaching Visual Arts in the 3rd Cycle of Basic Education and Secondary Education, will serve as a guidance document to the defense of an education through theater in the National Curriculum, a topic of great importance not only for the profit that brings to the student’s educational process, but especially given the reality of arts education in Portuguese Schools. Starting from an historical and descriptive research about: 1) the importance of Art Education in teaching and, in particular, Education through Theatre; 2) critical pedagogy (Freire) and relate it to the issue of Theatre of the Oppressed (Boal) and pedagogical approaches of Vygotsky, Arnheim and Read; 3) arguments that prove dignify-valences / benefits of education through theater, for holistic development of the student, discussing, defining the relevant soft skills curriculum to certain subject areas and specifically to the visual arts; 4) the identification and description of cases of implementation and dissemination of theater in school, verifying the "state of the art" in Portugal; 5) the description and analysis of the activities that the author of this plan has been developing in this area, namely the Education Department of ASTA – Associação de Teatro e Outras Artes, and in particular, an interdisciplinary project implemented by the same, whit the Agrupamento de Escolas do Teixoso, in a specific and particular context - one PIEF class, a training in theater and citizenship project aimed to young people at risk of child labor, school dropout and / or social exclusion, called "Palco PIEF"; and also 6) by conducting a qualitative investigation initiated by a proposal of extracurricular activity for the Annual Plan of Activities, of the Supervised Teaching in Practice, held in this academic year (2013/2014), at Escola Secundária Campos Melo, where the approach to theater is through the planning-implementation-monitoring of a Performance, taken by groups of students, to be presented in the Youth Art Symposia.
