O presente relatório serve para documentar o processo de aprendizagens adquirido no Estágio
Pedagógico realizado na Escola Secundária Quinta das Palmeiras (ESQP) e no Agrupamento de Escolas
Pêro da Covilhã, na cidade da Covilhã, no ano letivo de 2022/2023, pretende-se com o mesmo sumariar,
num primeiro momento, a intervenção pedagógica, demonstrando o trabalho realizado nos diversos ciclos
de ensino, fazendo passagens pelas responsabilidades e tarefas desempenhadas enquanto Professor
Estagiário, com funções de Direção de Turma, participação no Desporto Escolar, e atividades desenvolvidas
com e para a comunidade escolar, e a integração com o meio, detalhando o processo de planeamento,
intervenção, avaliação e reflexão.
No segundo capítulo apresentamos o projeto de investigação realizado que teve como principal
objetivo identificar a eventual influência da prática desportiva federada no desempenho escolar.
Participaram no estudo 65 alunos do ensino secundário. Nos procedimentos, realizaram-se testes
estatísticos, onde as avaliações sumativas e os inquéritos de participação em modalidades, sofreram uma
análise qualitativa e descritiva, no qual considerou para a investigação variáveis como a prática desportiva
federada, o género, a média interna e os tipos de modalidades desportivas. De acordo com os resultados
obtidos, não existem dados estatisticamente significantes, que se possa considerar o impacto direto da
prática desportiva na performance académica. Foram encontradas somente diferenças significativas, entre
praticantes e a avaliação da disciplina de Educação Física, e na análise do género feminino, verificando-se
em ambas uma significância positiva. Sendo assim, afirma-se, que estar inserido num contexto de
modalidades federadas, com carga semanal de treinos e competição, não apresenta impactos negativos, ou
positivos nas avaliações gerais e consequentemente nas médias escolares de alunos do ensino secundário,
podendo-se promover a prática de desportos de competição, pois não prejudicará as avaliações e rankings
escolares.
This report serves to document the learning process acquired in the Pedagogical Internship carried out at Escola Secundária Quinta das Palmeiras (ESQP) and at the Agrupamento de Escolas Pêro da Covilhã, in the city of Covilhã, in the academic year 2022/2023. The same summarizes, at first, the pedagogical intervention, demonstrating the work carried out in the different teaching cycles, going through the responsibilities and tasks performed as a Trainee Teacher, with functions of Class Management, participation in School Sports, and activities developed with and for the school community, and integration with the environment, detailing the process of planning, intervention, evaluation and reflection. In the second chapter we present the research project carried out whose main objective was to identify the possible influence of federated sports on school performance. The study counted with 65 secondary school students. In the procedures, statistical tests were carried out, where summative assessments and participation surveys in sports underwent a qualitative and descriptive analysis, in which variables such as federated sports practice, gender, internal average and types of sports were considered for the investigation. According to the results obtained, there are no statistically significant data that could be used to consider the direct impact of sports practice on academic performance. Only significant differences were found between practitioners and the evaluation of the Physical Education discipline, and in the analysis of the female gender, with both having a positive significance. Therefore, it is stated that being inserted in a context of federated modalities, with a weekly load of training and competition, does not present negative or positive impacts on the general evaluations and consequently on the school averages of secondary school students, being able to promote the practicing competitive sports, as it will not harm school evaluations and rankings.
