Energy Harvesting é o processo de recolha e conversão de energia cinética
presente no meio ambiente, para esta dissertação, o objetivo principal é aproveitar a
energia disponível nas tubulações de água. Usando um transdutor para converter a
energia cinética das vibrações para gerar energia elétrica, originada pela passagem de
água na tubulação. Um setup experimental recorre a um Woffer para gerar vibração e
fazer os testes práticos. Um transdutor piezoelétrico permite converter a energia das
vibrações em energia elétrica. A Energy Harvesting Multi-Source Demo Board, Demo
Circuit DC2080A, em particular o circuito LTC3588-1, contém uma ponte de retificação
de onda completa e um conversor DC/DC buck. A ferramenta Node-red foi importante
na implementação dos testes iniciais e monitoramento do comportamento da corrente,
tensão e potência geradas. O Mbed-NXP LPC1768 foi utilizado para fazer comunicações
entre o Node-red e o sistema montado, o integrado ADXL345 foi o acelerómetro para
medir a aceleração do transdutor. O sistema deve ser capaz de fazer recolha da energia
cinética das vibrações, convertê-la e disponibilizar para o uso de baixa potência, que
nesse caso é um sistema para monitoramento da tubulação de água, fornecendo
informações como qualidade da água, pressão com que a água passa pelas tubulações,
possíveis furos na tubulação.
Energy Harvesting is the process of collecting and converting kinetic energy present in the environment, for this dissertation, the main objective is to take advantage of the energy available in water pipes. Using a transducer to convert the kinetic energy of vibrations to generate electrical energy, originated by the passage of water in the pipe. An experimental setup uses a Woffer to generate vibration and carry out practical tests. A piezoelectric transducer allows you to convert vibration energy into electrical energy. The Energy Harvesting Multi-Source Demo Board, Demo Circuit DC2080A, in particular the LTC3588-1 circuit, contains a full-wave rectification bridge and a DC/DC buck converter. The Node-red tool was important in implementing the initial tests and monitoring the behavior of the current, voltage and power generated. The Mbed-NXP LPC1768 was used to make communications between the Node-red and the assembled system, the integrated ADXL345 was the accelerometer to measure the transducer acceleration. The system must be able to collect the kinetic energy of vibrations, convert it and make it available for low power use, which in this case is a system for monitoring the water pipe, providing information such as water quality, pressure at which the water passes through the pipes, possible holes in the pipe.
